Child Safeguarding Policy

Every child participating in a Global Plate programme has the right to be safe, respected and treated with dignity, regardless of background, school, ability or circumstance.

Student names, ages, photographs, contact details and emergency contacts are stored privately and are visible only to authorised administrators.

Student personal information is never published on this website and is never exposed through public interfaces.

Participation requires documented school consent, and parental or guardian consent where applicable. Photography and media consent is collected separately from participation consent.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time and we will remove the relevant material.

Students are supervised by their school staff and designated programme personnel at all times. All adults working with students are briefed on expected conduct.

Adults must never be alone with a child who is not in their care, and must report any concern immediately.

Any safeguarding concern should be reported immediately to the programme team at hello@theglobalplate.org. Concerns are treated confidentially and acted upon promptly.
